Welp. The storm did indeed do some crazy damage considering I haven’t seen anything like this in my entire life. I got lucky, in which all I had to worry about was the food spoiling with no power to the fridge and surviving on my own. You seriously don’t appreciate the little things like heat, electricity and hot showers until they’re stripped from you. Most of my time this past week was spent checking up on friends and family while they were checking up on me as well. Good neighbor duties. Even though my life has gotten to about 80% back to normal, there are many others who are not as lucky. So, if you want to help, you should donate to the Red Cross.
